Three ways to ask
Dictation, Scribble or the watch keyboard: it is watchOS's own text input, the one you already know.
Wrisper is an assistant for Apple Watch. You ask your question, your iPhone answers it with Apple Intelligence, and the answer shows on your watch seconds later. No account, no subscription, no server.
Coming soon to the App Store · FreeWrisper does the opposite. Your questions go from your watch to your iPhone, and the model Apple already put there answers them. Nothing goes anywhere else, because there is nowhere else to send it.
Tap the Ask button on your watch, then dictate, scribble or type your question.
The watch passes the question to your iPhone, which asks the Apple Intelligence model on the device. No internet connection is used.
The answer arrives within seconds, in one or two sentences. It can be read aloud to you too.
Your iPhone has to be near your watch, with Apple Intelligence turned on.
Dictation, Scribble or the watch keyboard: it is watchOS's own text input, the one you already know.
One or two sentences, with no lists and no formatting. Enough to read at a glance, not a lecture.
Tap the speaker and answers are spoken by the watch or in your headphones. Tap it again to go back to silence.
A short history, kept on the watch, so you can reread what you just asked.
Wrisper replies in the language you ask in, for the languages Apple Intelligence supports.
It says in plain words whether Apple Intelligence is ready, and what to do if not. A field lets you try a question without the watch.
What Wrisper can't do, and what it needs to work.
Wrisper has no server. We never see what you ask, or what you are told. Read the privacy policy.
